Redshank in the Creek gardens On a still summer’s morning

On a still summer’s morning the early morning sun slants down through this young meadow and invites you to wander down the grassy pathway

Horses graze on rough grass nearby and once again

glow amongst the grey-green of sea purslane

and in the far distance two people walk along the high tideline

on the saltmarsh in North Norfolk
